Partnering to Transform Lives

Since 1989, CPDC and our partners have helped communities grow and thrive. Our commitment to a sense of community extends far beyond buildings, and into the lives of the residents and families who inhabit these homes. We partner with leaders in residential services of all kinds to ensure individuals of all ages have the opportunity, inspiration, and resources they need to exceed their perceived limits and build a better life.

Services We Provide

Transformation takes place every day across our communities. Children engage in after-school programs to improve reading, writing, and language skills. Adults attend GED classes in the evenings to complete their high school education. Youth participate in dance, art, and other activities that stimulate their growth and development. We see the results of these programs constantly, and none of it would be possible without partnerships with Resident Services Providers such as you.

CPDC conducts neighborhood assessments in our communities throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, to determine the types of programs that are needed and that are of interest to residents in alignment with our community building model. Our programs are conducted through direct partnerships with established and reliable non-profit organizations that deliver tailored services to meet our residents’ specific needs.

Get Involved

Many of our Resident Services Providers operate directly in CPDC community spaces. We will provide you with the resources you require, an engaged resident corps that cares about improving the community they live in, and a dynamic partnership with our resident services staff to help facilitate ongoing engagement activities.
