2015 Beat The Streets: 7 Street Festivals

The 2015 Beat the Streets community outreach festivals are a partnership between the Metropolitan Police Department, local social service agencies and community vendors.  Featuring dancing, free food and fun, the festivals are a great opportunity for residents to meet and greet with neighbors and continue building relationships with the police department.  Community members of all ages are invited to enjoy musical performances from local marching bands and the MPD Police Band “Cops Come Knockin,” as well as local vendors and literature distributed by local social service agencies.
