Harry W. Thompson, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, treasury management, tax matters and information systems functions for CPDC and its subsidiaries and affiliates.
Mr. Thompson has more than twenty-five years of financial management experience. Prior to joining CPDC in May 2008, Mr. Thompson served as a financial consultant to Fannie Mae, BearingPoint and Constellation Energy. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of a closely-held real estate developer and property manager; the Controller of the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, a regulated investment company investing institutional pension funds in multifamily housing; the Controller for a national apartment developer; and, as an Asset Manager with a leading syndicator of affordable housing. Mr. Thompson began his career in the practice of public accounting.
Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Professional Accounting and Finance from the American University in Washington DC. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
