Insurance Benefits
CPDC provides a range of insurance benefits to its employees. Health and Dental insurance are available to employees and their families. Deductibles are small and coverage is excellent.

Flexible Benefit Plan
CPDC has established a flexible benefit plan for regular permanent employees. This benefit is a tax-qualified plan under Section 125 of the Tax Code. The IRS considers amounts that the employee has withheld for the plan pre-tax dollars, so the plan is a way for employees to plan for payment of their premium and to reduce taxes at the same time. For participants in the plan, premiums withheld for the group health, dental, vision, and prescription insurance; un-reimbursed medical expenses, and dependent care, are automatically classified as nontaxable income.

Retirement Package
CPDC has provided two separate opportunities to establish retirement savings. First, we have established a profit-sharing (retirement) plan for employees. In addition, we also offer all employees enrollment under Section 403(B) of the Internal Revenue Code that allows deferral of income tax on contributions to the plan until the funds are withdrawn. The plan offers a variety of investment instruments, allowing employees to have flexibility to address their specific and changing financial objectives. Employees may join the plan at any time.

Professional Development
CPDC encourages involvement in appropriate local and national trade/professional/advocacy organizations. In exceptional cases, provided there is a clear benefit for CPDC, a direct connection with your work, and CPDC is financially able, CPDC may pay dues and/or meal fees and even grant time off with pay to attend certain functions.

CPDC wants you to increase your skills and your knowledge that will enhance your performance in your job at CPDC. We encourage you to attend job-related educational programs, seminars and conferences providing knowledge and the skills required to perform your job at CPDC. In some cases, CPDC may pay all or part of the cost of attending and grant paid Leave to attend.
