Community Assessment and Evaluation
Community Assessment comprehensively examines and evaluates the strengths and challenges of a property relative to its place in the larger community.
In this process, the residents and the surrounding community environments are surveyed, researched, and mapped to determine how to best leverage community resources with the owner's capacity and funding in coordinating and delivering services.
This process also promotes and leverages the synergy created by the collaborative energy shared across all corporate operating principles by informing the direction of the organization as a whole, including the pursuit of new acquisitions, asset management, staffing, and third-party partnerships.
Also woven throughout this process is the continual evaluation of outcomes so that they may be best aligned with the current and future residential needs. With established benchmarks, measurement tools, and regular resident feedback, organizations can ensure the effectiveness of their work and authenticate the outcomes they achieve.
Community Assessment is the lynchpin of how an organization can ensure the health and viability of its residential communities, including measuring the efficacy of residential programming and making fiscally intelligent decisions about which communities will offer the highest return on the investment made by the owner, the residents themselves, and the funding agencies supporting both.
