Our Leaders: Dedicated to Creating Vibrant, Affordable Housing Communities

Christopher Goett, Director of Community Assessment and Outcomes, leads a team of analysts in creating a holistic data profile for all existing properties and potential new developments. This data is used by the CPDC team to determine the assets, strengths, needs, and physical attributes of the communities we serve. Mr. Goett in his previous position at CPDC facilitated, along with CPDC senior management, the creation and design of CPDC's Community Assessment department. Goett's national and local level macro social work expertise has been focused primarily within low-income communities. To date, Goett has worked collaboratively with over 40 different community organizing and advocacy groups in 5 different metropolitan regions.

Prior to joining CPDC, Mr. Goett worked for the Consensus Organizing Institute a nonprofit organization working to reverse social and civic isolation in distressed neighborhoods throughout the United States. He managed community analysis and organizing initiatives related to regional smart growth issues in low-income communities throughout San Diego, California. Additionally, Mr. Goett lectured at the University of California, San Diego on regionalism and leadership development.

Mr. Goett graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts from Villanova University. He earned a Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis on community organizing, development, and management from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work. Mr. Goett serves as a national Board Member of the Community Technology Center Network .
