CPDC's Asset Management Division oversees the day-to-day operations and performance of our residential properties and operates to preserve and enhance the value of both the property and its community for the long term.
Just as our Real Estate Development team works to build properties that will endure, our Asset Management team works to make the most effective use of its funds to support and maintain successful properties. As a non-profit organization, our intent is to own and operate all of our properties in perpetuity. We act aggressively to preserve the assets for the residents and the community for the long term.
Our Asset Management team ensures:
third party independent management companies engaged to manage our properties are doing their job efficiently and effectively
the property remains healthy and viable
the capital needs of the properties are addressed
property upgrades continue well after the development of the property has been completed
the assets are as valuable today as they were when they were initially developed.
Our experience and dedication in managing our properties not only adds to the value of our properties, but also often enables us to allocate funds to support our residential programs. Our Career Assessment Services and Laundry Businesses are examples of innovative ways CPDC has found to utilize our assets and effectively generate income for CPDC's Community Development Programs.
