Recognizing that working parents must have access to affordable and convenient child care in order to function in a responsible manner in employment and/or training situations, CPDC has made a commitment to assist residents in accessing quality, community-based child care.

At Edgewood Terrace, Catholic Charities provides toddler care, and CPDC and Catholic Charities are partnering to fundraise and develop an early head start infant care program. At Southern Ridge, an affordable day care program on site is run by the District of Columbia YWCA.
