Lorraine Gordon has more than 25 years of experience as a human capital leader, executive coach, facilitator, marketing communications professional, and entrepreneur. She has a successful track record of providing strong HR leadership, vision, and management to organizations in the education, housing, health care, and social & community impact industries. Lorraine has demonstrated the ability to be a trusted business partner with executive and operational leaders to help drive performance, culture and engagement, organizational and staff development, talent acquisition, change management, and compensation, policies, & employee relations.

She coaches leaders and teams on shifting and transforming their behaviors to better align with the company’s culture and core values. A good deal of her work has been focused on helping groups increase their effectiveness by improving the way they engage, communicate, problem solve, and manage conflict in the larger organization.

Lorraine is currently CPDC’s Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer.  She has held other leadership positions within for-profit and non-profit organizations, including four years as Vice President of People & Culture at Calvert Foundation and 10 years at Fannie Mae as a senior facilitator and coach where she played a key role in helping to shape the company’s culture strategy. Part of this work involved facilitating rigorous, customized two-day personal and team transformation workshops for more than 1,000 employees at all levels of the organization and across several regions.

During her five years at Kaiser Permanente, she developed and implemented strategic communication and development programs for more than 5,700 employees and physicians in the company’s Mid-Atlantic States Region that included integrative diversity initiatives, training programs, and high-level learning forums for international audiences.  Lorraine also trained abroad in Sao Paulo, Brazil with a global management firm.

As a consultant, Lorraine designed and delivered team and leadership interventions for for-profit and non-profit clients. Some clients include INOVA Health System; MedImmune; Goodwill Industries International; Calvert Foundation; BAE Systems, Booz, Allen, & Hamilton; the Management School of London; Mi Casa Board of Directors; Capital Press Club Board of Directors; and the Montgomery County Human Relations Commission, Women’s Commission and Police Department.
