Edgewood Garden Group Workshop
May 8, 2015

For this workshop, the group will be preparing for a botanical room in the senior building and participating in a gardening meet-up as well as gardening education sessions. Please plan to meet in Building 635.

Arbor View Tree Planting hosted by Casey Trees
May 16, 2015
9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Casey Trees will partner with CPDC to add new trees to the complex at Arbor Views during the Arbor View Food & Nutrition Community Greening Day. Arbor View Garden Planting hosted by Capital Area Food Bank

The Capital Area Food Bank garden planting will expand on a garden Arbor View residents cultivated 100% on their own last year. This year, The Capital Area Food Bank, via a Technical Assistance Gardening Grant, will build raised beds, supply tools and offer ongoing gardening education to residents. This event is part of Arbor View Food & Nutrition Community Greening Day.

Essex House All Resident Cookout

The Essex House will celebrate the community and provide an avenue for networking among residents through their All Resident Cookout. The afternoon will feature a community BBQ, entertainment from a resident-led reggae band, children’s activities including a moon bounce and face painting, an awards ceremony for resident leaders, and information tables with local community programs and resources.
