Jacqueline Mehala-Murray, Director of Human Resources and Administration, is responsible for reporting to the President and administers human resources policies, programs, and practices; including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating, and directing. Her duties include formulating policies and procedures for the corporation, partnering with members of senior management to help guide corporate business objectives, employee relations, workforce planning, and communications across the organization.
Prior to joining CPDC, she spent the last three years at FEMA, as a Manager in Direct Housing Operations. She provided assistance to disaster victims while deployed to disaster-affected areas in: Orlando, FL; Mobile, AL; Baton Rouge, LA; Albany, NY, and in New Orleans, LA, where she managed and trained a team of over 50 personnel responsible for Recertification of Applicants temporarily housed in FEMA Travel Trailers and Mobile Homes.
Ms. Mehala-Murray has over ten years experience in human resources development and employee relations. Eight of those years were customer driven in the Hospitality Industry. She worked in the Human Resources department, where she gained valuable experience in Recruiting, Benefits Administration, Training, and Payroll Administration.
Ms. Mehala-Murray graduated from Barry University, Orlando, FL with a Bachelor of Science in Business/Professional Administration. She has recently become a member of the Society of Human Resource Managers.
