CPDC is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of senior leaders in business, finance, and government sectors. Under their direction, our properties reflect how the public, private, and non-profit sectors, in partnership with residents and neighbors, can successfully interact to create housing that directly serves the needs of the community.

CPDC is deeply saddened by the loss of our founder, long-time friend, and former Board Emeritus Eugene F. Ford Sr. Gene departed this life on October 21, 2015. His contributions to the field of affordable housing are innumerable. Gene was well-loved and will be sorely missed by CPDC and the entire housing community.

To learn more about Gene F. Ford Sr., please visit his bio and tribute video; as well as CPDC’s 25th Anniversary gala booklet and interactive timeline, both of which capture crucial organizational milestones, many of which were conceptualized and/or implemented through Ford’s leadership.
