The Heart of CPDC Senior Health Services

CPDC recently received funding to establish a Clinical eStorefront, one of CPDC’s efforts to expand health services to senior residents.

An in-home biomedical and telemedicine program will link seniors with area hospitals and support a successful “aging-in-place” experience.

Clinical eStorefront will establish a fully operational, equipped, and electronically capable on-site medical clinic to develop and implement a comprehensive Tele-health service program utilizing advanced telecommunications and computer/information technologies.

Senior Living Enhancement (SLE)

Residents of all ages factor into Community Preservation and Development Corporation's (CPDC) development plans. Vibrant communities are diverse communities: in economic status, in culture, and in age. We recognize, however, that many of the needs of seniors are unique due to their stage in life. With this in mind, CPDC's programs, activities, and services of Senior Living Enhancement (SLE) target quality of life for seniors and focus on successful aging-in-place . To achieve this, SLE programs focus on:

  • Promoting and supporting an independent and healthy lifestyle
  • Celebrating and preserving the rich heritage of seniors
  • Maintaining senior involvement and connection with their surrounding community
  • Providing opportunities for personal growth in body, mind, and spirit
