CPDC Laundry Business

CPDC has assumed ownership of the laundry room services located on most of our properties from a for profit laundry company. By doing so, we not only provide a better, more secure laundry service for residents, we also dedicate the net laundry revenue to the programs we coordinate.

We greatly improved laundry facilities by adding debit card machines, which allow residents to add funds to a card via cash or credit card rather than feeding coins into the laundry machines.

• Residents are safer because they do not have to carry cash to do their laundry;
• The machines are less susceptible to vandalism or theft; and
• The performance of the laundry rooms can be tracked through the debit card machines.

CPDC currently manages the laundry facilities on 5 properties, and expects to roll the system out to others in the near future. Future enhancements to the laundry rooms are planned, such as Internet access.
