Real Estate Associate
|
Purpose: The Community Preservation and Development Corporation (CPDC), a leader in the affordable housing industry, is seeking an entry-level Real Estate Associate to assist and support real estate development staff in all development activities from acquisition through completion. |
Description: Assist development officers with a variety of tasks to further successful completion of projects including: Due diligence, market analysis, responding to RFPs, preparing financing applications, undertaking financial feasibility analyses, financial structuring, acquisition and construction loan closings, permanent loan closings, construction administration, lease-up oversight, coordinating members of the development team, and ongoing compliance.
Assist in undertaking and managing the communications with architects, management, contractors, as well as residents, the general public, and other partners
Conduct research as necessary regarding housing needs, market conditions, property ownership, etc.
ssist in the preparation of board reports, special projects, etc. as requested, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations and disseminating information

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree required. Degree in related field preferred (e.g. real estate, planning, business, finance, etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge of field of real estate development
Demonstrated experience conducting research and analysis; and preparing written reports and presentations
|
Experience: Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within and outside of the organization
Must demonstrate proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, working with proformas and spread sheets, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
